Singer 9ice has claimed that the devil controls the music industry, making many musicians engage in certain behaviours such as smoking.
Describing the devil as the chiormaster, he warned aspiring musicians to be prepared for the challenges that come with the industry due to the devil’s control.
9ice spoke on Nancy Isime’s show, stating that his understanding of the industry’s spiritual dynamics is based on his personal experiences and knowledge.
He told aspiring musicians to understand the environment they’re entering saying, “The devil controls music. The devil is the choirmaster. That’s why we smoke and do all the things we do.
“Music generally is controlled by the devil. If you’re coming to this industry, understand where you’re coming to.
“I’m not lying to you. He [the devil] is the most powerful angel. I’m speaking based on knowledge and what I’ve experienced spiritually.”
