Atiku’s political future bleak – Presidency

Ezekiel Awojide, Abuja

The Presidency has said the political future of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is bleak.

It said the coalition being put together by the former vice president and his allies like a former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai and Babachir Lawal, has no future.

Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, stated this on his X handle.

His reaction followed the defection of the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori; Atiku’s running mate in 2023, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, and the entire political structure of the PDP in the state to the All Progressives Congress on Wednesday.

With this, he described Atiku as someone who will lose again.

Onanuga said, “The coalition that he, El Rufai, Babachir Lawal, and new member Baba-Ahmed are cobbling together has disintegrated.

“Potential allies, including former running mate Ifeanyi Okowa and defunct CPC members, are giving his leprous group a wide berth. Atiku is a loser again.”
