Nigerian gospel singer Frank Edwards has shared personal reflections on time management and relationships, admitting that his past struggles with balancing commitments contributed to the failure of two relationships.
The music star made the disclosure in a Facebook post on Friday, where he responded to a question about how he manages his time.
According to him, he is still learning how to effectively balance his schedule, acknowledging that his shortcomings in being present and available played a major role in his past relationship experiences.
“The answer is; I’m still learning. I’ve been in two relationships that didn’t work and the faults are mine, time management and availability issues,” he wrote.
Edwards explained that despite his professional commitments, he came to realise that being busy should not come at the expense of meaningful personal connections.
Recounting a remark from one of his former partners, he noted, “My ex used to say, ‘But you are not the busiest person in the world.’”
The singer stressed that no level of financial success can substitute for emotional presence in relationships, suggesting that availability is a key factor in sustaining meaningful bonds.
“No amount of money can replace you being present and available, except the person does not really care about you,” he added.
He concluded by admitting that he came to this realisation later than he would have preferred.
“And I realised that late,” Edwards stated.
The post has since drawn reactions from fans, with many commending the singer for his honesty and introspection on issues of personal growth and relationships.
