Liverpool have won the English title for the 20th time after beating Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 at Anfield.
It is their second Premier League title and it has been won with four games left of the 2024-25 season.
It was actually the visitors who took the lead on the day through Dominic Solanke but Luis Diaz needed just four minutes to equalise.
A pair of superb finishes from Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo made it 3-1 going into half-time. Mohamed Salah came out in the second half desperate to add his name to the scoresheet and that’s what he did in the 63rd minute with a well-taken effort.
A fifth Liverpool goal then followed with Destiny Udogie putting into his own net.
