Paris Saint-Germain drew level against Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League final after Ousmane Dembélé calmly converted a penalty in the 64th minute to make it 1-1.

The French forward stepped up from the spot and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way, restoring parity for PSG after the Ligue 1 champions had trailed since the opening stages of the match.

Arsenal had taken an early lead through Kai Havertz, who found the net in the fifth minute to give the Gunners a dream start in the showpiece encounter.

However, PSG continued to push for an equaliser and were rewarded just after the hour mark when the referee pointed to the penalty spot following a foul inside the area.

Dembélé showed composure under pressure, dispatching the spot-kick into the back of the net to reignite PSG’s hopes of securing their first-ever Champions League title.

The goal shifted momentum in PSG’s favour as the French side looked to complete the comeback against an Arsenal team seeking European glory.

With the scores level at 1-1, the Champions League final remained finely poised heading into the closing stages of the contest.
