Troops of the Nigerian Army under Operation Hadin Kai and fighters of the Islamic State West Africa Province are currently engaged in a fierce gunfight following an attack on Buni Gari in Yobe State.
This was made known by the Nigerian Army’s X handle, @HQNigerianArmy, on Saturday.
“Troops of Operation HADIN KAI currently in a fierce battle against ISWAP attack at Buni Gari, Yobe State. Details later,” the Nigerian Army posted on X.
