A former fiery critic of President Bola Tinubu, Mr Reno Omokri, has explained how he became the defender of the president.
The Social media influencer cited new evidence and a trusted personal relationship as key factors responsible for his sudden change in position.
Speaking on Breakfast Central on Thursday, Omokri said, “Well, if you look back into history, a lot of Nigerians are not meticulous when it comes to keepers, and as a country, we have a very short memory.”
Omokri elucidated that his early hostility to Tinubu was based on the President’s academic credentials and alleged links to drug-related activities.
According to him, “I met with individuals there; I was given inconsiderable evidence that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu attended, passed his exams, and graduated from Chicago State University. And after that date, I changed completely.”
