Germany-based Nigerian attacker, Victor Boniface has blasted some of his Super Eagles teammates over alleged disloyalty to the national side.
Boniface, during an interview with The Culture League podcast, claimed that some of the stars do not care whether they win or lose matches.
He called for more seriousness in the team, noting that millions of players are waiting to play for the country.
He added that playing for Nigeria is a privilege that must not be abused.
He said, “If some of my teammates are going to the national team, they feel like, we go, we play, whether we win or lose, it doesn’t matter.
“I am always trying to say to them, we are millions in Nigeria. I think in Africa, we have the highest population.”
