Former Kano State Governor and immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has returned to Nigeria after a month-long medical trip to the United Kingdom.

According to Mohammed Garba, Ganduje’s former Chief of Staff, the APC stalwart arrived in the country in the early hours of Wednesday.

“He is back in Nigeria today. He is full of life and has returned to his residence,” Garba confirmed to Punch.

Ganduje had traveled to London for medical treatment shortly after his resignation as APC National Chairman on June 27, 2025, citing ill health.

He was later inaugurated as Chairman of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria on July 9, and Netanwe Yilwatda took over as the new APC National Chairman.
