Gunmen have abducted Hon. Laven Denty, the member representing Pankshin South in the Plateau State House of Assembly.
According to a report by AIT, the lawmaker was abducted from his home in the Dong area of Jos North LGA.
As of the time of filing this report, there has not been an official response from the state officials or confirmation by the State Police Command.
Recall that gunmen similarly stormed the Dong community last week where they kidnapped a serving member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and a student of the University of Jos.
The kidnappers had invaded one Solomon Dansura family’s house around 10 p.m. and whisked away his two young guests in the process.
