The 2023 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor, has boasted that he his more qualified to run for the 2027 governorship than Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu.
Jandor, now a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) said the junior Tinubu is not as experienced as him because he has never been on the ballot before.
Responding to a question on Channels Television on Thursday night, he maintained that he stands a chance against the likes of Seyi, former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Tokunbo Abiru, and others.
Jandor said, “Okay, so all the names that you have mentioned, just like I said earlier, they are all qualified to be governor of Lagos. This includes Seyi himself, every one of them.
“And you’re not going to take anything away from no one. But from all of them that you have mentioned, aside from the former governor that you mentioned, none of them have actually been on the ballot as governorship candidates aside from myself.
“So I come with that experience. I come with the experience of somebody who has single-handedly gone through that process without any backing.”
