Abayomi Adegoke replaces Sen. Ogunwale as chairman College of Health Technology

Governor Ademola Adeleke has approved the appointment of Hon Abayomi Adegoke from Iragbiji to replace Senator Kola Ogunwale as the chairman of the Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa.


The appointment was contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Teslim Igbalaye dated June 2nd, 2025.

Adeleke tasked the new appointee to always comply with the public service rules and the College edict.

The governor further urged the new chairman to understand and recognise the roles of the board and the management, calling for a harmonious working relationship with the management of the institution.

Adegoke, according to a statement signed by the Spokesman to Adeleke, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, is a project management, finance, and economic expert.

He hails from Iragbiji, Ward 01, in the headquarters of Boripe Local Govt., Osun State.

His academic qualifications include a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Master of Philosophy in Economics from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.


He is currently a doctoral candidate at the OAU, Ile-Ife, Osun State.

He has been at the forefront of the struggle for the defense of human rights and active politics for more than two decades.

He’s a former Executive Assistant to the former Governor of Osun State, HE, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, on Millennium Development Goals, now Sustainable Development Goals.
