Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) on Saturday announced that some parts of Abuja, the nation’s capital will experience a fresh power outage.
The announcement was posted on the X account of the disco company, where it blamed the outage on a technical fault.
Listing the affected areas, AEDC said they include, Amazon Street, Lephalala Street, Ganges Street and Panama Street, parts of Danube Street, and Osun Crescent.
Other areas affected by the blackout are Rhine Street, Urban Shelter Katampe and Living Faith Church Katampe, Jahi Village, Katampe Extension, Jahi by Gilmore, and environs.
“We regret to inform you that the power outage affecting your area is due to a technical fault,” the notice stated.
Meanwhile, the Disco did not state when power supply would be restored to the affected areas.
