The Benue State House of Assembly has approved the request of Governor Hyacinth Alia to appoint 10 more Special Advisers.
The lawmakers gave the green light for the governor to expand his team of advisers on Thursday’s plenary, saying that the approval is intended to strengthen governance and help the administration deliver on its development agenda.
Governor Alia is expected to unveil the names of the new appointees in the coming days.
This comes barely days after the governor announced a new round of key appointments across strategic offices and statutory boards.
