A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe has claimed that the killings, kidnappings and destruction happening in Igboland is not the handiwork of some Hausas in the South-East.
The Anambra-born Lagos politician, however, declared that fellow Igbos are the ones causing mayhem in South-East states.
In a recent Facebook post, Igbokwe wrote, “The blatant and pathological lies about the killings and destruction in the South East can no longer stand.
“It is Igbo killing Igbo, it is Igbo destroying Igboland and putting the blame on Hausa/Fulani Herdsmen. This is not our culture. This is sad.”
Recall that barely a week ago, a young businessman, Ifesinachi Onyekere popularly known as Fish Magnet, was brutally murdered by yet-to-be-identified hoodlums in Anambra State.
Ifesinachi was found dead on Wednesday July 30th, 2025, days after he was kidnapped from his residence in Awka, the state capital.
