Madam Esther Idahosa, the mother of Edo State Deputy Governor, Dennis Idahosa, has died at the age of 95, marking the end of a remarkable life devoted to family, faith, and community service.

The revered matriarch reportedly passed away peacefully on Wednesday, according to a statement issued by the deputy governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Friday Aghedo.

Her death has since drawn tributes from associates and well-wishers who described her as a pillar of strength and a source of wisdom to many within and beyond her immediate family.

The statement highlighted her enduring influence, noting that she lived a purposeful life shaped by strong moral values, steadfast faith, and a deep commitment to the wellbeing of others.
