Dr Paul Orhi, a former Director-General of the National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), dumped the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
In a letter addressed to the Atirkyese Council Ward Chairman in Benue State, Orhii announced that he has joined the coalition under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
He added that his decision to dump the PDP came after intensive consultation with his family, friends, and supporters.
The letter reads, “After intensive consultations with my family, friends, thousands of my supporters and political Associates locally, Nationally and Globally I have decided to resign my membership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with immediate effect.
“This is to enable me join the coalition of other progressive minded Nigerians in the African
Democratic Congress (ADC) on the rescue mission.
“Consequently, I hereby tender my letter of resignation from our GREAT Party, the People’s
Democratic Party (PDP) with immediate effect.
“I truly remain eternally grateful to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) that gave me the
opportunity to serve my country Nigeria at the highest level. Please accept the assurances of my highest esteem.”
