Four PDP senators join APC

Four Senators elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday dumped the opposition party to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The defectors are Aniekan Bassey (Akwa Ibom North East), Ekong Sampson (Akwa Ibom South), Francis Fadahunsi (Osun East), and Olubiyi Oluwole Fadeyi (Osun Central).

The letters of defection of the lawmakers were read to the Senate by the Senate President Godswill Akpabio during Wednesday’s plenary.
