God’ll help Nigeria build country where wicked leaders will be in jail – Dino Melaye

Former Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye, has prayed about Nigeria’s future, expressing optimism that a time when corrupt leaders will face justice.

In a message shared on a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) WhatsApp platform from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Melaye compared the Arab country with Nigeria.

The former lawmaker’s message also conveyed his faith in Nigeria’s potential for change, urging Nigerians to work towards a better future.

He wrote, “See country, God help us to build a true nation where our wicked leaders will be in jail and the right people in power. Nigeria must be fixed. YES WE CAN.”

Melaye accompanied the text with a video of himself waiting for a traffic light to pass him in the Arab nation while listening to a worship medley by Nigerian singer, Dare Justified.

Some parts of the video also showed the former Kogi lawmaker driving himself on the well tarred road with gigantic structures on the flanks.

Melaye served for a total of eight years in the Nigerian National Assembly, comprising two separate, non-consecutive terms.

He was a member of the House of Representatives for the Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency from 2007 to 2011, and a Senator representing Kogi West from 2015 to 2019.
