Gov Radda resumes office after auto accident

Katsina Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has resumed office after the break caused by his involvement in a road accident on his journey from the state capital, Katsina to Daura.

The development was confirmed by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mohammed Ibrahim Kaula, in a statement he made available to pressmen late Tuesday.

He noted that the governor has been discharged from the hospital and certified medically fit to continue his official functions and resume full gubernatorial duties with immediate effect.

It reads, ”Governor Radda expressed profound gratitude to all Katsina State citizens, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers across Nigeria who offered prayers, support, and goodwill messages during his brief hospitalization.

”He is deeply touched by the overwhelming prayers and support from Katssina people. This demonstration of love strengthens his commitment to serving Katsina State with renewed vigour and dedication.

‘The Governor looks forward to delivering the Building Your Future transformational agenda for the development and prosperity of Katsina State”
