Yet-to-be-identified gunmen have abducted the Principal Special Assistant to the Benue State Governor on Youth and Media Mobilization, Mr. Atu Terver, popularly known as Krayzeetee.
The wife of the governor’s aide made the incident public in an emotional post she made on social media on Tuesday night.
According to her, she received a distress call from her husband in a frightened tone, saying: “I have been abducted, call mummy.”
Attempts to reach his phone afterwards were unsuccessful.
Authorities are yet to officially confirm the abduction or provide details on rescue efforts.
However, checks on the Facebook page of Terver showed that he last made a post 16 hours ago.
