I was offered call girls abroad, Pastor Kumuyi recounts

Founder of Deeper Life Ministry, Pastor Folorunsho William Kumuyi, has shared a shocking experience where he was offered call girls as companions during a hotel stay abroad.

Kumuyi noted that he was surprised when the hotel sent a message asking if he would like a lady companion, prompting him to swiftly respond that he is a Christian and does not require such services.

Pastor Kumuyi is one of Nigeria’s most famous clergymen.

He said “I travelled out because I was invited. I told the people who invited me that I always come with my wife, so they have to pay for both of our tickets or I refuse to come. That’s my policy.

“We checked into the hotel where they lodged us, and then the telephone rang. A voice said, ‘We welcome you; we hope you don’t need anything?’ I said, ‘No, thank you,’ and we dropped the telephone.”

Kumuyi said they picked up their telephone and said, “We’ve already distributed our cards, and they’ve slipped the cards under the door. I saw it. When I saw the card, they weren’t plain with their language. They talked about if you’re sick, if you’re tired and you need relaxation or something. That’s what they said on the card, so I didn’t understand it.”

The Pastors spoke further that “So they said, ‘Do you need anybody?’ I said, ‘I don’t understand.’ I asked them to be plain with their language. They said, ‘There are girls that you could have!’ I said, ‘No, I’m a Christian and a preacher.’ I dropped the telephone and told my wife when she came in, because she wasn’t in the room at that time.

“I said, ‘Look at this; that’s why I say leave everything you’re doing in Nigeria and come along with me to preserve my life.’”

He said it is difficult for men that are travelling alone all the time.

“If you’re going to continue in the ministry for a long time, we make a fence around ourselves. Your wife is a fence around you,” he advised.
