Ikorodu City FC Director Tobi Adepoju resigns as assistant secretary of NPFL club owners

The Ikorodu City FC Director Tobi Adepoju has resigned his position as the assistant secretary of the Football Club Owners Association of Nigeria.

This was conveyed in a post he made on X on Saturday.

Disclosing his reason for making the decision, Adepoju said he wanted to focus on the activities of Ikorodu FC.

“I have resigned my position as the Assistant Secretary of the Football Club Owners Association of Nigeria.

“The Association is the Clubs Forum for the 20 NPFL clubs.

“One year ago, 19 other clubs voted for me to be appointed to the role. I have served and it’s time to focus on our Club (@IkoroduCityFC) activities.

“I want to appreciate @IkoroduCityFC and the Club President, Mr. @SanmiDoherty for the opportunity to represent the Football Club.”

Previously, Adepoju served as the Secretary of the Southern Conference Forum of the Nigeria National League (NNL)
