Ikorodu City FC, popularly called `’Oga Boys’, has sealed a new partnership deal with Guinness Nigeria for the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Samuel Bamisebi, the Media Officer of the Club, who stated this in a statement on Friday in Lagos, said Guinness would feature on the club\`s official match day jerseys and content materials.
He said that the partnership also gives Guinness the chance to carry out brand activities at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on match days.
According to him, the collaboration would boost the visibility of both sides and support the team’s growth and development.
“We are delighted to announce our new partnership with one of the globally recognised brands, Guinness Nigeria.
“Guinness Nigeria, a prominent beverage brand and one of the largest brewers in the world, has joined the Oga Boys as a major partner as the new football season in Nigeria progresses.
“Guinness will feature on the club’s official match day jerseys, content materials, and will also have an opportunity for brand activation at our home stadium on match days as part of the partnership commitment.
“We are truly excited to welcome Guinness on board, Lagos’ number one and one of the leading football clubs in Nigeria,” he said.
Ikorodu City will take on league leaders and nine-time winners, Enyimba International FC on Sunday in a Match Day 6 fixture at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.
The Oga Boys are currently 10th on the NPFL table with six points from five matches, after recording one win, three draws, and one loss.
