I’ll not back down from fighting environmental saboteurs, Lagos Commissioner, Wahab vows

The Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, has vowed to continue fighting against environmental saboteurs in the state.

Wahab made this vow on Friday, in a post made on X.

Declaring war on those set of Lagos residents, the environment commissioner called on every Lagosian to see the duty of security the environment as personal.

He wrote, “Since I assumed office, it’s been about making Lagosians see the dangers of climate change, to understand that the environment is everyone’s business, and that change begins with the choices we make daily.

“With the full backing of Mr. Governor @jidesanwoolu and the state government, we are intensifying the fight against environmental saboteurs, those whose actions put our shared future at risk.

“Let it be clear, the Ministry will not back down. Not today, not tomorrow.”
