Insecurity: Falz demands Tinubu’s resignation

Nigerian rapper and activist, Folarin Falana popularly known as Falz, has called for President Bola Tinubu’s resignation after a bandit attack on Christ Apostolic Church in Kwara State.

The rapper and activist took to X on Wednesday, accusing the President of neglecting his primary duty to secure lives and property, calling the government’s inaction “unacceptable”.

The attack occurred on Tuesday, November 18, around 6 p.m., and security operatives have since engaged the attackers and repelled them.

During the assault, the armed gang reportedly invaded the church during a service, killed at least one person, and abducted several worshippers.

The entertainer wondered how many more people must die before meaningful action is taken by President Tinubu.

He wrote, “How many more people have to be kidnapped and murdered in cold blood? How many more lives do you want to waste? How many more futures do you wish to erase with your incompetence and inaction?

“You have consistently shown your unwillingness to protect the lives and property of our people despite pretending to care in the past. RESIGN NOW!”
