JAMB sets 150 marks as cutoff to gain university admission

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Tuesday announced a new cut-off mark to gain admission into universities in the country. 

The examination body pegged university admissions to 150 marks, while admissions for colleges for nursing require 140 marks, colleges of agriculture and colleges of education require 100 marks

The decision was reached during the 2025 Policy Meeting on Admissions, held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.
