Lagos youth commissioner directs traffic after fallen tree caused gridlock

The Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mobolaji Ogunlende, on Tuesday stopped on his way to the gym to direct traffic.

Ogunlede, who was on his way to the gym stopped around the Ikoyi axis to ensure the free flow of vehicles after a tree fell and caused gridlock in the area.

The development was posted on X by Lagos Junction.

Dressed in a black sports wear, the commissioner was seen explaining to the road users why they had to reroute.

He also told one motorist that he was waiting for officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) to come to the scene to evacuate the tree.
