The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has begun a two-day induction and training programme for newly employed staff members who were hired between 2022 and 2024.

The program, held at Mayfair Hall in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State, aims to familiarise new staff with the organisation’s mission, vision and values.

This was made known in a statement shared on Tuesday via the agency’s official X handle.

Delivering a welcome address, the Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Chris Najomo, assured the inductees that they were joining not just an organisation but “a family of dedicated professionals committed to ensuring safety, security, economic growth, and the orderly development of civil aviation in Nigeria.”

He reaffirmed management’s commitment to staff welfare and professional development, urging the new employees to embrace teamwork, respect diversity, and contribute to the Authority’s culture of collaboration and excellence.

Also addressing the inductees, the Director of Human Resources and Administration, Anastasia Gbem, who led the organising team, congratulated the new staff and underscored the importance of professionalism, work ethics, and organisational culture.

She explained that the programme was designed to familiarise them with the NCAA’s mission, vision, and values, and to highlight how their roles contribute to safety, efficiency, and excellence in the aviation sector.
