The wife of the Ondo State Governor, Mrs. Seun Aiyedatiwa, on Thursday presented gifts to Mrs. Ayobamidele Ojo, who was delivered of quadruplets at the Federal Medical Hospital( FMC), Owo.

Ojo gave birth to quadruplets on 31 January 2026 through normal delivery.
Speaking at the event, Mrs. Aiyedatiwa said the state government received the news of the multiple births with excitement.

“I want to appreciate the state governor because I am being sent on a mission here by him.

“We congratulate everyone of us for this delivery. We know this is not a common birth. Twins are common, triplets are common, but four at a time, we are just blessed in Ondo State.

“I want to appreciate the management of this hospital for the job well done because all four babies are alive with the mother,” she said.

Responding, the mother of the quadruplets expressed excitement for the visit.

Also speaking, the Head of Clinical Services of FMC, Dr. Adeyinka Ayeyemi, who welcomed the governor’s wife, said that the hospital has the capacity to render quality healthcare services to the people of the state.

Ayeyemi appreciated Mrs. Aiyedatiwa for identifying with the mother of the quadruplets, despite not being officially informed of the multiple births.

He said the facility serves as a residency training facility, adding that it also trains pharmacists, nurses, and others.

According to him, the medical services for the state’s people, especially in the northern part, rest on the hospital’s shoulders.

He asked for the support of the state government for the hospital to provide better services.

The governor’s wife donated money to women in the post-natal wards of the hospital for the care of their newly-delivered babies.
