Nigeria’s first lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has welcomed and comforted the late Aisha Buhari, the widow of late Former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The family of the late Nigerian leader landed at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International Airport in Katsina, accompanying Buhari’s remains for burial on Tuesday.
The body was flown in from London where he died on Sunday.
Vice President Kashim Shettima led a high-level Federal Government delegation following the order of President Bola Tinubu to give the late Head of State and democratically elected president a state burial.
