Nigerian actress Rita Edochie has advised men to consider women who have good character ahead of beautiful ones when considering marriage.
In a post she made on Instagram on Thursday, the veteran actress stated that the role of a good woman cannot be overemphasised in the life of a man.
She said, “A good woman is a blessing beyond riches. She lifts her man, protects his image, and adds honour to his crown. If you doubt this, ask Comr. Tony Edochie, my husband.”
Furthermore, Rita also warned against toxic partners, saying, “A bad woman drains his strength, mocks his vision, and turns his glory into shame.”
She further advised men to be discerning when choosing a spouse.
“Not all that glitters is gold; some crowns shine, others hurt like thorns. Mary’s character, not just beauty, seeks virtue, not vanity. A good woman builds, a bad one destroys.”
Emphasising her point, she added, “The partner you keep determines if you rise as a king or fall as a jester.”
