Kuwait’s defence ministry has reported that multiple American warplanes crashed in the country on Monday morning, with all crew members surviving.
This incident occurred as Iran continued its third day of strikes in the Gulf region.
“Several US warplanes crashed this morning. Confirming that all crew members survived,” a defence ministry spokesman said in a statement, adding that the cause was under investigation.
He explained that the competent authorities immediately began search and rescue procedures, and the crews were evacuated and transferred to the hospital to check on their health and provide the necessary medical care, noting that their condition is stable.
“Authorities immediately initiated search and rescue operations, evacuating the crews and transporting them to a hospital for medical evaluation and treatment. He noted that their condition is stable,” the statement added.
The ministry further disclosed that direct coordination was established with the U.S. forces regarding the incident.
It noted that joint technical measures were taken in response to the crashes, though it did not provide specific details about the number of aircraft involved, the exact locations of the crashes, or the nature of the missions being conducted at the time.
He stressed that the relevant authorities are following up on the investigations to determine the causes of the accident, calling for information to be obtained from official sources.
