Strike threat: FG, NUPENG, Dangote refinery meet in Abuja

The Federal Government, the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) and representatives of the Dangote refinery are presently in a meeting to stop the planned strike by the union.

The meeting, which is holding in Abuja, is a part of the government’s efforts to mediate the dispute between NUPENG and Dangote refinery.

It is being led by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Mohammed Dingyadi, as well as Nkiruka Onyejeocha, Minister of State for Labour and Employment.
