President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently meeting with Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, at the State House, Abuja.
Fubara arrived at the presidential villa on Monday around 6:20 PM.
Governor Fubara was reinstated on September 18 after a six-month state of emergency rule in the state.
The emergency rule, declared by the president in March, was lifted last week after the President cited progress in restoring peace and stability in the state.
The measure had been taken to douse months of political crisis that threatened governance and security in the oil-rich state.
Details of the essence of the meeting are unknown as of press time.
