Tinubu hails EFCC boss Olukoyede’s anti-corruption fight on birthday

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr Olanipekun Olukoyede, on his birthday, applauding his bold anti-corruption efforts.

‎This is contained in a statement issued by Presidential Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, on Tuesday in Abuja.

‎Tinubu praised Olukoyede’s professionalism and courage in leading the EFCC’s mission to eliminate financial and economic crimes across Nigeria.

‎He lauded the Chairman’s unwavering commitment to transparency, institutional reforms, and a reinvigorated anti-graft framework.

‎The President also applauded the establishment of a special task force targeting currency offences, including naira abuse and economic dollarisation.

‎He hailed Olukoyede’s strategic approach in combating cybercrime and economic sabotage through innovative enforcement mechanisms.

‎Tinubu prayed for God’s guidance over Olukoyede, praising his resolve to free Nigeria from the deep-rooted economic challenges that have tied the nation down for ages
