Tinubu’s wife to empower 1000 Lagos women, inaugurate leather hub

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, wife of President Bola Tinubu will on Friday present empowerment items to over one thousand women in Lagos State.

This was disclosed in a post by Gboyega Akosile, media aide to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in a post he made on X on Friday.

Akosile also said the wife of the president will also inaugurate the Lagos Industrial Leather Hub in Matori, Mushin, during her maiden official visit to Lagos.

He wrote, “Arrival of the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu for a meeting with Traditional Rulers and Religious Leaders at Lagos House, Marina.

“During the visit, the First Lady will present empowerment items to over one thousand women at the State House, Alausa, Ikeja. She will also inaugurate the Lagos Industrial Leather Hub in Matori, Mushin, a facility described as the largest of its kind in West Africa.

“Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who received and welcomed Her Excellency to the State, commended her commitment to advancing the welfare of women, children, and families across Nigeria. He noted that Lagos is proud to host her as she continues initiatives that foster unity, inclusion, and development nationwide.”
