Veteran singer Daddy Showkey has disclosed how his colleague, Ayo ‘Wizkid’ Balogun helped him open his Instagram account.
The singer said this during a video call with music producer Maleek Berry, praising the Grammy-winning star for introducing him to Instagram.
Narrating how it happened, Daddy Showkey said he visited Wizkid’s home a few years ago and started trending online after Wizkid made a post about him on the social media platform.
The veteran said he was curious about how Instagram worked so Wizkid explained and also helped him create an Instagram account.
He added that fellow artist KCee later guided him on how to effectively navigate and use the app.
Daddy Showkey expressed appreciation to both artists for their support, crediting them for helping him connect with a broader audience.
“I had a special call today from @maleekberry and I shared a story of how @wizkidayo introduced me and also helped me open my Instagram account, and how @iam_kcee also shared knowledge on how to navigate the app. Life is about learning, and applying the knowledge is key to the life we live now,” he wrote on Instagram.
