NNPC slashes petrol price in Lagos, Abuja

Ezekiel Awojide

In what looks like an Easter package, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has reduced the pump price of premium motor spirit, otherwise known as petrol.

The price reduction is noticed in both Lagos and Abuja.

Our correspondents who went round the two cities on Monday observed that NNPC retail outlets sold the product at N880 per litre in Lagos and N935 per litre in Abuja.

Before today, a litre was sold at N925 per litre in Lagos and N950 per litre in Abuja.
