An enforcement team from the Lagos State Government on Monday dislodged street traders at the popular 2nd Rainbow Junction.

The state Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, announced the development in a post on his official X handle on Monday, stating that the operation was part of ongoing efforts to restore order in the state.

“Good morning Lagos. Our enforcement team is currently dislodging illegal street traders constituting nuisance at 2nd Rainbow Junction, inward Mile 2.

“These activities obstruct traffic flow, endanger pedestrians, and litter the environment. We remain committed to keeping our roads safe, clean, and free of all forms of environmental infractions,” he added, concluding with the hashtags. #CleanerLagos #GreaterLagos
