Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri has advised men not to kneel to propose to their fiancées, claiming that the only woman who deserves their kneeling is their mothers.
In a post he made on X on Tuesday, the social commentator highlighted the sacrifices a mother makes for her children, comparing it with that of a lover.
He said, “Your mother carried you for nine months. She spent her meagre funds to train you through school and tired herself out to raise you through life. She sprayed for you while you strayed from her. She defended you even when you were guilty.
“And now, you, who has never knelt to her, want to kneel to propose to one girl who has been eating your money since you met her less than a year ago? Come on, young man. If you have to kneel to any woman, let it be your mother, not your lover!”
