Abiodun appoints Farook Akintunde as Special Adviser on waste agency

Governor Dapo Abiodun has appointed Hon Farook Adeniyi Akintunde as Special Adviser on Ogun State Waste Management Authority (OGWAMA), replacing Hon Abayomi Hunye, with immediate effect.

Governor Abiodun congratulated Hon Akintunde on his appointment, urging him to leverage his five years of experience in the environment sector to drive effective waste management as head of OGWAMA.

Environment Commissioner, Dr Ola Oresanya, also congratulated Hon Akintunde, saying the Ministry of Environment will provide OGWAMA with the necessary support to ensure he succeeds in his new role, towards making Ogun State cleaner and safer.

The new Special Adviser called for the cooperation of OGWAMA’s management and staff.

He stated that together, they’ll take the Authority to greater heights, providing top-notch waste management services that’ll benefit all residents and make OGWAMA a model for others to follow.

Before the present appointment, Akintunde served as the Special Adviser to Ogun State Governor on Environment.
