Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has announced plans for a free concert in Osogbo on April 24 as part of activities leading up to the 2026 governorship election.

The event, which will feature his son, B-Red, alongside other entertainers, was disclosed by the governor on Wednesday via his X handle.

He described the concert as non-partisan and open to all residents of the state.

Adeleke said, “Osun, this free Concert is for each and every one of you. I am delighted to have my son @B_RedHKN, his friends in the entertainment industry, and exciting upcoming musical acts from across Osun bringing the vibes home!”

He stressed that the programme would accommodate people across political divides, listing parties such as Accord, ADC, APC, LP, and PDP as welcome participants.

Adeleke added, “This Get Out to Vote Concert is for everyone in Osun State — Accord, ADC, APC, LP, PDP — no political divide, just pure Osun energy!”

The governor noted that the concert will take place at the Technical Field in Osogbo, with free admission for attendees, encouraging residents to turn out in large numbers.

Artistes expected to perform include Peruzzi, CDQ, Fido, Shina Peters, May D, Sinarambo, Peller, Kolu Wahala, and B-Red, alongside emerging talents from within Osun State.

The announcement comes shortly after the governor appointed his nephew, Davido, as Head of Youth Mobilisation for his re-election campaign.

The Osun governorship election is scheduled for August 8, 2026, with the concert also aimed at boosting voter participation.
