Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for the ongoing infrastructure projects in the state, saying they would boost connectivity and improve the socio-economic wellbeing of the people.
Nwifuru stated this in a Tuesday statement following a Sallah homage visit to President Tinubu at his Lagos residence alongside members of the National Assembly from Ebonyi State.
The governor said the delegation congratulated the president on the successful conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries across the country and commended his leadership of the ruling party.
According to him, the delegation also praised Tinubu’s commitment to strengthening the APC ahead of future political engagements.
“We also conveyed the profound appreciation of the government and people of Ebonyi State for the ongoing projects in Ebonyi State. The critical road infrastructure projects will greatly enhance connectivity, stimulate economic growth, and improve the socio-economic wellbeing of our people when completed,” the statement read.
He noted that the ongoing road infrastructure projects in Ebonyi State would stimulate economic growth and enhance development across the state upon completion.
Nwifuru reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda of the president and pledged continued collaboration with the Federal Government towards the development, peace and prosperity of Ebonyi State and the country.
