Former presidential aspirant and author, Adamu Garba II, has expressed confidence that former Kaduna State governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, will overcome his current challenges and “come out stronger and more powerful.”

Garba made the remarks on Tuesday in a post shared on his X account, where he detailed how El-Rufai meticulously went through his book titled “Nigeria At The Fault Lines,” offering corrections, editorial guidance, and recommendations that have now been incorporated into a revised edition published on Amazon.

According to him, the former governor demonstrated remarkable precision and intellectual discipline while reviewing the manuscript page by page.

“His Excellency, Malam Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai reviewed my book’s page by page ‘Nigeria At The Fault Lines’. I was astonished by his speed of review and the falcon eyes with which he scrutinized and identified the minutest possible error and offer his gracious corrections to the book,” Garba wrote.

He explained that El-Rufai carefully tracked the entire manuscript from beginning to end, identifying inconsistencies and making necessary corrections.

“He diligently followed through all the book back to back, some names mismatched, some spelling errors, some dates corrected and some identities tallied,” he added.

Garba noted that the former governor also provided what he described as “marvelous recommendations,” which helped refine the final version of the work before publication.

He further stated that all identified errors have now been corrected in the updated manuscript.

Beyond the editorial process, Garba used the opportunity to praise El-Rufai’s leadership qualities and resilience, describing him as a figure of intellectual depth and integrity.

“I am forever grateful to Malam for his guardianship, his mentorship and his leadership. Malam is an embodiment of intellectual honesty and excellence,” he said.

In a more personal reflection, Garba addressed the political atmosphere surrounding the former governor, expressing optimism about his future.

“Allah is certainly with him, and he’ll come out stronger and more powerful after the current challenges,” he wrote.

He also noted that the copy reviewed by El-Rufai was the same manuscript he was seen holding during his recent court appearance, adding context to the timing of the review.

The former governor is currently facing court proceedings in Nigeria over multiple allegations of financial misconduct, abuse of office, and related corruption charges filed by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

On Tuesday, the State High Court adjourned its ruling on the bail application filed by the former governor, shifting the decision to June, 2026.
