The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as an “uncommon reformer” whose leadership has set Nigeria on the path of economic recovery and long-term growth.
Fagbemi made the remarks in a statement issued on Sunday to commemorate the President’s 74th birthday, praising Tinubu’s reform-driven agenda and commitment to national development.
The statement was conveyed by Kamarudeen Ogundele, Special Assistant to the President on Communication and Publicity in the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice.
In the message titled “Happy 74th Birthday to an Uncommon Reformer, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR,” the justice minister lauded the President’s policies, noting that they have begun to reposition the country for a more stable and prosperous future.
According to him, Tinubu’s administration has demonstrated “uncommon and unwavering commitment” to Nigeria’s progress, particularly through reforms across key sectors, including the justice system.
Fagbemi said the President’s efforts to drive economic growth, strengthen infrastructure, and improve security have laid a solid foundation for sustainable development.
Describing Tinubu as an indefatigable leader, the AGF highlighted the President’s political journey from grassroots activism to the highest office in the land, noting that it serves as a source of inspiration for many Nigerians.
He said the President has shown that determination, resilience, and hard work can lead to national leadership and impactful governance.
“Your journey from grassroots politics to the highest office is an inspiration to many Nigerians. You have proved that with hard work and determination, anything is possible,” Fagbemi stated.
Fagbemi also commended the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which he said has rekindled optimism among Nigerians about the country’s future.
He noted that Tinubu’s leadership style—characterised by resilience and strategic vision—has earned him widespread respect and confidence across different segments of society.
The AGF added that the reforms introduced under the current administration signal that the government remains committed to fulfilling its promises to citizens.
As part of the tribute, Fagbemi extended prayers and goodwill to the President, wishing him good health, continued success, and a fulfilling year ahead.
He expressed hope that Tinubu’s legacy would inspire future generations to pursue excellence and contribute meaningfully to national development.
“May this birthday mark the beginning of another year of blessings, joy, and fulfillment,” he said, adding that the President’s contributions to Nigeria’s growth would remain significant in the years to come.
The message forms part of a wave of tributes from top government officials and political figures marking President Tinubu’s 74th birthday, with many highlighting his reform agenda and leadership at a critical time in Nigeria’s development trajectory.
