Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, on Friday described his years in office as a journey defined by “responsibility, sacrifice, learning, and unwavering commitment” to the growth and development of Ogun State, as he marked his 66th birthday and seven years as governor.
In a statement he signed personally, Abiodun said his time in office had been shaped by the demands of leadership and the task of steering the state through development-focused governance.
He noted that the experience had strengthened his dedication to delivering progress for residents across all sectors.
The governor expressed gratitude to the people of Ogun State for their trust and support, saying their encouragement had remained central to his administration’s drive for economic reforms, infrastructure development, and people-oriented initiatives.
He also appreciated political leaders, stakeholders, family, and associates for their continued backing, reaffirming his commitment to sustained service and good governance in the state.
Abiodun added that he remained committed to advancing the growth and development of Ogun State with renewed dedication in the years ahead.
