Ben Murray-Bruce has announced the appointment of Mr. Roy Murray-Bruce as the new Chairman of the Silverbird Group, marking a significant leadership transition at the multinational media and entertainment conglomerate.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Ben said the decision follows decades of his leadership in building and expanding Silverbird Group across multiple sectors, including media, entertainment, hospitality, real estate, and strategic business development in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

He described Roy as a seasoned executive with over 40 years of leadership experience, vision, and governance expertise.

Expressing confidence in the new leadership, he said he believes the appointment will strengthen the organisation’s long-standing tradition of innovation and excellence.

“I am confident that under his leadership, Silverbird Group will continue its commitment to excellence, innovation, growth, and industry leadership across Africa,” the statement read.

He added that he looks forward to a new phase of growth and transformation for the Silverbird Group under the leadership of the new chairman.
